Art
Home of the Turner Contemporary, if art is your thing, head to the art gallery to get your fix and spend time wandering around. There are also some pretty impressive murals and artworks scattered around, so keep those eyes peeled.
Food
There are plenty of cafes and places to eat dotted around. Check out Tripadvisor or better still, ask a local for tips on where to eat. You won’t be disappointed!
Swim
The largest saltwater pool in the UK is in Margate so if you can brave the chill, enjoy a swim, or two!
Shop
Shops aplenty and some seriously unique things to buy. Whether it’s vintage or indie or a mix of the two, Margate has you covered on the shopping front…
Dream
Dreamland has to get an honorable mention here. A retro theme park that hosts various events and things to do, it’s a big selling point, we cannot lie!
