Visiting Wales
Looking to visit Wales this Summer and beyond? Here are our tips on where to go, some of our all time favourites and some hidden gems as well, so pack your bags and get ready for adventure!
First off, make sure you book in advance, even if you are camping! Things are super busy in the UK this Summer and you don’t want to arrive with no place to stay!
Shell Island
The go-to for campers and those looking to escape, the beauty of Shell island never seems to get old! We love it here, especially if you’re looking to disconnect and really enjoy the scenery.
Anglesey
Anglesey is a gorgeous island, full of quaint towns and villages, as well as gorgeous beaches! Visit here if you are looking to explore but equally enjoy solitude and having time and space to think! It is beautiful and we are sure you will love it.
Aberdovey
A fishing village and packed with independent bars and eateries, it is a gorgeous location with a beach that is perfect for a seaside holiday. You may want to stay in a neighbouring town as it can get a little pricey to stay here, especially in the summer.
Cardiff
If you are looking for somewhere a little more lively, Cardiff could be the answer! It is a bustling city packed with shopping and nightlife, so if you’re after something more upbeat and with plenty of activities, this might be a good option, even if only for a day or two!
We hope you enjoyed those tips and locations. If you are heading out on a Summer holiday and need transport to get you there, come and speak to the team at Hilton Garage, where we will be more than happy to help you find a used car in Derby.
